Jeff was raised on a family grain farm near Birch Hills, Saskatchewan where he actively farmed alongside his parents until 2011. This upbringing instilled the value of hard work and a passion for agriculture that would set the course for the coming years.
Upon graduation, Jeff enrolled in the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan. In 1999, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture (B.S.A.) with a major in Agricultural Economics.
Jeff's professional employment began as an Agriculture Loan Officer at the Birch Hills Credit Union in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan from 1999 - 2002 and then as an Agriculture Account Manager at the Sask Valley Credit Union in Rosthern, Saskatchewan from 2002 - 2004. This work experience in the financial services industry provided Jeff with an in-depth knowledge of farm/commercial lending practices and procedures.
In 2004 Jeff began his real estate career and worked with one of Saskatchewan's top producing farm and ranch real estate brokerages until 2015. Over this time Jeff gained invaluable experience in all aspects of farm and ranch real estate sales and also established a strong network of contacts in the industry.
Jeff's upbringing, education, work experience and passion for the agriculture industry all contributed to the establishment of Hegland Realty in the fall of 2015.
Hegland Realty provides a full range of services to assist in the purchase or sale of farm and ranch real estate throughout the province of Saskatchewan.
